MONDAY JUNIOR SCIENTISTS
Science is a great way to start the week! Students will focus on vocabulary, illustrations, experiments, mathematical problems and journal assignments. They will have the opportunity to spend several hours in specialized study thus allowing a better understanding of the academic material. |

FOREIGN LANGUAGES
Our studies have shown that foreign language instruction given at an early age is both fun and attainable. Therefore, Academy students are encouraged to learn three to five languages before their eighth grade graduation. We offer conversational French, German, Japanese, Spanish and Mandarin Chinese. Our students love it and their parents are amazed with their progress Classes are offered four days a week. |

THEATRE CLASSES
Tuesdays / Thursdays 3:30—5:00 |

ART STUDIO
The ART STUDIO will be open everyday. It will be stocked with all sorts of artistic supplies for your creative child to check out. Students may take beginning, intermediate or advanced drawing lessons.

MUSIC K-3 may choose piano and/or recorder. 4th grade and up may choose an instrument from the music director’s list. Parents are responsible for the purchase or rental of instrument. Vocal lessons are also offered every week. |

FORMAL LUNCHEONS
Dress Up Day! Students may wear clothing of their choice or their uniform. Hot lunch will be served. Folding tables will be set up in Classroom One. Hot lunch will be served complete with china and cloth napkins. |

CLASSROOM DESIGN
Our classrooms are filled with thought provoking materials that stimulate the active mind. The environment is similar to Montessori classrooms. Students may work at their own pace in a peaceful atmosphere. We have a library, Science Lab, Art Studio, Music Room, Quite Study Areas and a Busy Activity Hall. All students have a personal locker for their belongings. |

OUTDOOR ENVIRONMENT
Physical education is offered daily. Students participate in exercise routines, track, soccer, volleyball, basketball and group games. Students also help with the school gardens. The botany studies are a very important part of our curriculum. |
