Welcome to Star Valley

                Going to school at Star Valley is a “small town” experience.  Teachers, students and parents all contribute to a community that focuses on life-long learning, physical well being, social responsibility and the pursuit of happiness.

                The children come to work each school day with their community of friends ready to learn and play.  They learn that success comes from desire and dedication.  The agendas and timetables will be different for each child, however, sometimes they will be the same.  There are individual goals, group projects and moments to reflect.  Star Valley students concentrate on how to apply their knowledge in real life situations.  They become responsible for their own learning. 

                The teachers provide the necessary tools for academic achievement, creative expression and successful social interactions.  This includes using outside resources and mentors to enhance the educational experience.  The Storybook Theatre, Da Vinci Art Club and the Chess Connection is open to the public after school.  The students are able to interact and form bonds with other children from the surrounding communities.

                Most of all, Star Valley encourages the children, to reach out and help make the world a better place.  The students are given many opportunities to share their time and abilities in community service.
